Baptism

Jesus ordained that we, the church, are to baptize those who have professed their faith in Him. It is an outward expression of an inward decision. It is certainly one of the most exciting things we experience corporately as the church because it is the celebration of a person's spiritual birth.

At River Cross Church, we meet with the baptism candidate to discuss the decision they have made to be baptize. Before the ceremony, we make a video of how they came to make that decision, and why baptism is important to them. Then, we schedule a Sunday to have the baptism, and we do it in a community pool located near the worship hall.

Jesus said, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit"
